Mrs Salina of i2M Ventures responsible in Partners & Stakeholders Engagement, Project Management and Corporate Services Units, presented a comprehensive package of incentives and support for existing and future stakeholders in Iskandar Puteri, specifically expressing interest in human capital building for blockchain technology.

OBC highlighted the success of nurturing over 60 full fledge programmers in blockchain technology since its inception in May 2018. This is an outstanding achievement in developing homegrown blockchain skilled programmers. Ninety percent of which are local talent, diligently trained in OBC’s very own facility in Medini 9, Medini City, Iskandar Puteri, Johor. In less than a year of set-up, OBC has profitably delivered revenue projects for overseas markets.

Additionally, OBC has shared four of a very eye-opening blockchain solutions which covers not only financial but also the non-financial based applications. For financial segment, OBC has developed CTRAX, a mobile wallet application with decentralized technology that sets them apart from its competitor. Besides CTRAX, OBC also developed a web-browser wallet application called URwallet with highest security features as alternative to manage crypto assets. These will further spawn the new currency evolution needs. Both solutions offered white label options, allowing crypto currency producers to customize the applications to their brands while reducing the loads of coding.

Another interesting solution developed by OBC is the OBC token platform (ICO platform). It is a revolutionary angle of producing crypto currencies with just push of buttons. The platform serves as launching tool, market penetration tool as well as sustainability programs to ensure the success of each token. Aligned with the digital currency exchange regulations that is in the development process in Malaysia and other countries, OBC has stepped forward to incorporate features that ensures KYC/ AML and data privacy requirement based on regional needs, can be catered. “OBC is committed to produce solutions that is aligned with any regional laws yet pushing forward towards paradigm change on the crypto currency evolutions. There are tremendous opportunities to encourage economy through this new era of crypto currency. Having said that, crypto currency should be seen as a complementary to the fiat system,” Matsuda emphasized.

On the non-financial segment, OBC has put an attractive effort to develop an e-voting application based on blockchain. The solution is designed for the use of open voting such as polling; and secured voting such as presidential voting with stringent elements of KYC and more. To stir more interest, OBC has included a BcVote hosting for everyone to experience on the event.

OBC has proven the success of blockchain development and demonstrated ways moving forward for businesses and industries to adapt into blockchain bandwagon. With aim to nurture more than 100 programmers by end of 2019, OBC has shown the pathway for the adaptation into blockchain technology to be in its fastest track.
